This bear celebrates the 100th Anniversary of the Teddy Bear (1902-2002).
The origin story of the Teddy bear was inspired by a 1902 cartoon of President Roosevelt refusing to shoot a bear cub. A New York shop owner sought permission to use Roosevelt’s name and the rest is history- The Teddy Bear was born.
