No chips or cracks. The center of the top has an area that looks like it was chipped but the surface is smooth and flat. It can sit flat upside down but I wouldn’t recommend using it in that manner unless it sits in a base.
Use it to cover small items for a vignette or use it cover a small plant for a terrarium look.
