These chairs have a regal presence with their tall intricate high backs, nailhead, and ornate wood carvings. This particular style was popular during the 17th century and was known for its heavily carved woodwork and rich upholstery.
Unfortunately, due to age, the original yellow velvet upholstery was worn and had many holes. It was reupholstered with a fabric and pattern similar to its appropriate time era.
They would make a great addition to a formal dining room, hallway, or even as accent chairs in an entryway or sitting room.
