The lock has the word, "Safeguard" on the front. It is chippy and rusted but is a great piece for a vignette, office, or gift. When I received the lock, it was not locked but suddenly locked on its own.
There is no key and based on research this could be a reproduction. Safeguard is a real lock company but I have not seen a padlock exactly like this one.
